Justin Bieber will be performing at this year's MTV Europe Music Awards tonight (6 Nov 2011). Teenage pop superstar Justin Bieber will be at the event in Belfast's Odyssey Arena alongside acts such as Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars AND JESSIE J.

Bieber will be performing, ironically, in the show that will be presented by his actress-girlfriend Selena Gomez. This comes after Bieber went on US TV this week to refute the claims by Mariah Yeater who states that she gave birth to his baby after they had had a sexual encounter after one of his concerts. He told Nbc's Today show: "I know I'm going to be a target, but I'm never going to be a victim". Gomez and Bieber were seen yesterday at the MTV Voices dinner holding a united front for the cameras, where Justin picked up an award for his charity work. The couple have been going out since December last year (2010).

The awards show will be taking over Belfast tonight. It will be held in three different locations; the main arena, and other performances taking place in Ulster Hall and the City Hall. Writing on his blog, the Lord Mayor of Belfast Niall O'Donnaghaile said: "This is our chance to shine with footage being beamed to an audience of 600 million across the world" Lady Gaga leads with six nominations, whilst Bruno Mars and Katy Perry follow with four.
